Presentation Abstract
We will discuss topics in the area of market algorithms together with their impactful applications, including auctions, autobidding, online allocations, and more recent connections to AI. More broadly, with these examples, I hope to convey the special and distinctive nature of research in industry in this area, with the interplay between the insights and depth of theory and the real-world requirements of practice, with each side informing and driving the other.
