Bio
Seth Blumberg works a behavioral economist at Google, where he leads its internal prediction market platform. He has a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago, where he worked on game theory models of favors between friends, and applying behavioral finance to puzzles in development. He also holds a BA from Princeton University in math and public policy.
Presentation Abstract
Seth will discuss some puzzles that have arisen thanks to the latest (and possible future) wave of AI capabilities. The workshop will touch on and opportunities for research and building in AI engineering, market design, and labor and organizational economics.
